It’s that time of year again, we’re looking for a 1L or 2L, preferably in the Washington, DC, area, to work with us as our research intern for the summer of 2019. This is a PAID position, and is full or part time.
Duties include researching case law and updates regarding intellectual property and video game law, researching and indexing video game patents, preparing content for publication on the blog, and working with the editors on research articles regarding cutting edge topics in video game and immersive reality law.
Interest in video games and immersive entertainment law is a must. Quick learners, dynamic thinkers, and self-motivated individuals do well in this position. Experience with WordPress is a plus, but not required. Preference is given to those candidates that are not eligible for the patent bar (our firm is an IP boutique, and we have a traditional summer associate program for patent bar-eligible candidates, in which the research intern would also partially participate).
If interested, apply through the Banner Witcoff careers portal (if the position isn’t posted yet, it will be shortly). We will need your resume, transcripts, and of course a well written writing sample.
